About the event
The Madagascar Sunset Moth (Chrysiridia rhipheus) is one of the great wonders of the bug world. This radiantly colored, day-flying moth breaks all of our preconceived notions of what defines a moth. Come an enjoy an evening where we learn about and celebrate this fantastic insect and pin your own specimen!
Each ticket reserves a seat in our class which will include a presentation segment, in which we will learn more about this magical critter, an instructional demonstration, and a pinning session in which attendees will be able to pin their own specimens with the help of our instructor. Reservation fees also cover your pinning kit, insect specimen, and a 10% discount towards purchases made that evening (does not include sales on consignment products).
Ticket reservation does not cover mounting supplies as specimens will require 1 week minimum drying time, however we do have a mix of mounting supplies available…
